CASA Montessori Teacher

Position/Location: Oakville

CASA (age 3 to 6) Montessori teacher. This is a full- time, indefinite contract position.

Our Oakville Elementary Campus is currently seeking an innovative and passionate CASA educator to join our dynamic team for September 2019.

The position involves co-teaching a class of 28 four and five your olds. The current co-teacher has over 20 years teaching experience. 

Music and French are taught by specialists. Weekly PE class in our own gym is taught by the two CASA classroom teachers.

Benefits/compensation:

Tanglewood School is a private Montessori, CCMA Applicant School, nestled in a beautiful century building in South West Oakville.  We have been serving the Oakville community for over 25 years. 

We are looking to expand our teaching team and are currently seeking a full time, Casa Teacher to lead our Casa classroom of 16 students starting late August 2018.

To be considered for the position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Casa Montessori Diploma (MACTE Accredited Training)
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in a Montessori environment
  • Knowledge of Ontario’s Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)
