Position: Early Childhood Montessori Teacher (Age 3-6)

Job Description
To maintain our high standard of service, we are always looking for top educational talents. We are currently seeking NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS who have a passion
for Montessori Early Childhood Education and are willing to relocate to China for a minimum of one-year-term. If you are an individual who is patient, responsible,
professional, articulate, and enjoys working with children, then we would like to hear from you.

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Participate in the planning and implementing of age appropriate programs to enhance the child's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
● Organize learning materials and resources
● Teach literacy and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills
● Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc.) to motivate and stimulate the
   children’s educational growth
● Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
● Assess students’ performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis
● Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing
● Collaborate and communicate with other staffs
● Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations

We offer professional training and a supportive work environment. Generous remunerations will be provided, including competitive salary plus bonus, entitlement to
both Ontario and Chinese public holidays, Chinese Visa application, round-trip airfare, as well as medical insurance, accommodation within China. Internship certificate and
reference letter could also be provided upon request.

Job Qualifications
• Must possess a postsecondary degree or diploma
• Must have (or working towards) a MACTE accredited Montessori Diploma for Early Childhood (Age 3 – 6), OR willing to take a one-month specialized
  Montessori training course at the Toronto Montessori Institute as instructed by Wykeham Education
• Have experience working with children, preferably in a Montessori setting
• Excellent knowledge of child development, Montessori theories and practices
• Patient, enthusiastic, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ECE certificates is an asset, but NOT a must
• Students from early childhood education, child education, or other education programs are preferred, but we are also willing to hire other students who have
  experience or skills in related areas.
• Have or willing to get a current (within past 6 months) Police Background Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
