Westside Montessori School in downtown Toronto, located in Kensington Market, is looking to hire a patient and caring RECE to work with children between the ages of 1.5 and 2.5; someone who can multitask and work well alongside others in a school dedicated to creating a positive community environment. Responsibilities include assisting in the Toddler classroom, which involves supporting the Montessori-trained classroom teacher, cleaning and disinfecting the classroom materials, supervising the children to ensure their safety, helping the children with toilet learning as well as snack and mealtime. This position requires someone who is keen to learn and expand their knowledge of Montessori and scaffold their learning, as well as someone who can take direction. · Flexibility regarding assigned working hours, ability to work split shifts, early morning and mid-late afternoons, and at times weekends or early evenings for afterschool events or
  meetings etc.
