Montessori Toddler Teacher Assistant – Immediate Start

Established in 1999, Petite Maison Montessori is currently seeking an experienced Montessori toddler teacher assistant to work full time commencing as soon as possible with a class of 15 students along with a lead Montessori teacher and a RECE.  Candidates must have at least 1 year experience in a Toddler classroom. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a toddler class is required for this role

Updated WHMIS training and Allergy Aware certificates required

Criminal reference check, CPR

Updated immunization record and TB test required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide support in planning and implementing an effective program for children within a warm and nurturing learning  environment
To maintain a positive and consistent approach towards child management that is compatible with the philosophy and values of Petite Maison Montessori School
To communicate with parents on a daily basis in an open and supportive manner both in person and on our online platform HiMama
To demonstrate sound knowledge of all relevant sections of the Child Care Early Years Act
To maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy at all times
