Site Supervisor- Start Date: November 2024
Miracle Montessori School, located in the York Mills/Leslie area of North York, is currently being renovated and will welcome new enrolments in 2025. Our vision is to guide and empower every child to reach their fullest potential within a nurturing and authentic Montessori environment.
This experienced and exceptional Supervisor will provide supervision and leadership, ensuring nurturing care and education for young children in a Montessori environment. They will adhere to the goals, curriculum, philosophy, and policies of the organization, maintaining strict compliance with the CCEYA and the Ministry of Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs in compliance with the CCEYA
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to educators and staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Conduct center tours, maintain wait lists.
- Monitor and evaluate program delivery for quality and to ensure the programs meet target deliverables. Maintain and monitor annual program work plans, outcome frameworks and reporting systems.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and policies.
- Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with external agencies and professionals as needed to support the needs of children and families.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) in Ontario.
- Familiarity with or experience working in a Montessori environment is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a child care centre would be preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Current CPR Level-C and Standard First Aid certificates.
- Working knowledge of CCEYA, and Public Health regulations regarding Child Care Centres.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Skilled at working both independently and within a team.
- Skilled in office works and computer applications including Microsoft word, excel
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search.

Salary: $48000.00 to $70000.00 per year
