Clanmore Montessori School is a well-established learning environment located near
Toronto in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Housed in a beautifully restored historic
farmhouse with custom designed additions, Clanmore offers authentic Montessori
programming from toddler through to adolescence in a cooperative work environment.
We are looking for someone who works effectively in a team setting and is passionate
about student-centered education. The ideal candidate will have a talent for guiding
children while providing support to the lead teacher in the classroom.

Qualifications / Requirements
● Experience working with preschool, elementary or middle school aged children
● Effective communication skills and strong organizational skills
● Growth mindset and cooperative attitude
● A love of the outdoors in all seasons
● Ability to work in a physically demanding environment indoors and outdoors to
meet the needs of the children
● Interest in child development in the preschool and/or elementary and middle
school years
● Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
● Valid Standard First Aid certificate from a WSIB recognized provider
● Montessori training, OCT or RECE an asset

Duties & Responsibilities
● Assist the lead teacher in providing an authentic Montessori experience in a
team setting while maintaining a beautiful classroom environment
● Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
● Assist children with social problem solving skills
