Toronto Montessori Institute (TMI) is an internationally recognized teacher training facility and a Private Career College approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). As part of TMS School, TMI offers diploma programs accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).

TMS is inviting applications for the following full time position:

Toronto Montessori Institute Registrar

Reporting to the Director of Training, TMI, the TMI Registrar is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day operations of TMI including all registrar, marketing, promotion, admissions, and bursar responsibilities. Specific duties include general office administration, maintaining income and expense accounts, file maintenance, managing the administration of OSAP funding, organizing teaching placements, attend and organize special events, and the creation of marketing and communication materials.

Qualifications experience and attributes: 

  • 3-5 years progressive work experience in a related field
  • A university degree or college diploma
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Superior organization, analytical, planning and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, timely and possess a strong work ethic
  • Strong computer skills including experience with computer based information systems
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR and AED
  • A current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
  • Knowledge of OSAP, MTCU and PCC regulations, policies and procedures would be considered an asset
