Upper Elementary Teacher – Start Date: September 2022

Lodestar Montessori School is growing again!  We are presently seeking a dedicated, passionate, and innovative teacher for the 2022 – 2023 school year.  This position is for our new classroom, Upper Elementary, housing students from grades 4 – 6.

The ideal applicant would possess the following characteristics:

• The desire to learn and adapt to the Montessori Elementary environment
• Holding an OCT degree and/or an Elementary level Montessori diploma
• a deep respect for children, with the ability to facilitate an environment that balances inquiry-based learning
• Academic rigor and love of the great outdoors is a must!
• Vulnerable Sector Screening
• First Aid/CPR Training
• Availability to begin classroom preparations in August
