Montessori Casa Teacher

KW Montessori School is seeking a Montessori Casa Teacher.

KWMS is located in Kitchener-Waterloo and is a CCMA-accredited school that has been offering authentic Montessori programming for 50 years. Our programs include Casa to Upper Elementary. We are seeking an individual who is a team player, respectful, organized, self-motivated and has a genuine love of children. Interested individuals should demonstrate:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• An ability to work collaboratively with all staff members
• An ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff and community service providers
• A positive attitude
• Strong and effective classroom management skills
• A true love for working with children

Qualifications:

• AMI/MACTE accredited Montessori training
• Experience in a Montessori Classroom is an asset
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C
• Up-to-date Immunization Health Screening/Record
